About the Author:

R S Khurmi was born on 29 Aug 1939 in Sunam, a residential community in Punjab. He finished his tutoring in Sunam and after that, he finished his graduations from Phagwara and Delhi.

He began his career in Punjab Irrigation Department as an Engineer. After direction from Professor Das of Chandigarh Engineering College, Dr. Khurmi came to Delhi and took up Teaching and Writing Engineering Text Books as a full-time vocation.

He had an awesome regard for his Guru Shri B.L. Theraja, who acquainted him with S. Chand and Company. His books got a decent market, in India as well as abroad.
